Licensed commercial HVAC service for businesses, restaurants, offices, and commercial properties in Cut Off and South Lafourche. Repair, installation, rooftop unit service, maintenance contracts, and 24/7 emergency response.
When the heating or cooling goes down in a commercial property, the impact is immediate. Employees cannot work comfortably, customers notice, and in food service or temperature-sensitive operations, the stakes are even higher. We at Martin's Heating and Air Conditioning have been serving commercial and residential clients throughout South Lafourche and South Terrebonne since 1967.
Our licensed technicians understand the urgency that comes with commercial HVAC work, and we respond to service calls with the speed and preparation that business owners need. Schedule your commercial HVAC service.
Commercial AC repair. When a commercial air conditioning system fails or underperforms, we diagnose and repair it quickly to minimize downtime. Our trucks are stocked with the components most commonly needed for commercial repairs, and we can schedule priority visits for businesses that cannot afford to wait.
Commercial AC installation and replacement. We size and install commercial air conditioning systems built for the specific demands of your property, including package rooftop units, commercial split systems, and multi-zone configurations. Proper load calculation and equipment selection are critical in commercial applications where square footage, occupancy levels, heat-generating equipment, and local climate all affect what the system needs to deliver.
Rooftop unit service. Rooftop package units are the most common commercial HVAC configuration in South Louisiana's commercial market. We service, repair, and replace rooftop units across all major commercial brands, handling everything from refrigerant issues and blower motor failures to full unit replacements on flat and low-slope commercial roofs.
Commercial HVAC maintenance. Scheduled preventive maintenance is the most cost-effective way to protect a commercial HVAC investment. We inspect coils, check refrigerant levels, test electrical components, clear drain lines, and assess the full system to identify developing problems before they cause a failure during peak operating hours. We work around your business schedule to minimize service disruption.
Commercial heating services. South Louisiana winters are mild, but commercial properties still require reliable heating during cold spells to maintain comfortable conditions for staff and customers. We service and install commercial gas heating, electric heating, and heat pump systems sized for commercial applications.
Indoor air quality for commercial spaces. Air quality in restaurants, offices, and retail environments directly affects the comfort and health of employees and customers. We install commercial UV light systems, enhanced filtration, and ventilation improvements that address the air quality challenges unique to South Louisiana's humid coastal environment.
Emergency commercial HVAC service. Equipment failures do not wait for business hours. We offer 24/7 emergency HVAC response for commercial clients in Cut Off and the surrounding South Lafourche area. When a critical system goes down, we dispatch quickly to assess the situation and restore operation as soon as possible.
Business owners often underestimate how much their HVAC system contributes to monthly operating costs until something changes.
According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration's Commercial Buildings Energy Consumption Survey, HVAC systems account for approximately 35% of total energy consumption in U.S. commercial buildings, making them the single largest energy end use in the category. In South Louisiana, where commercial cooling systems in offices, restaurants, and retail spaces often run eight to ten months of the year, that percentage is higher still.
A commercial HVAC system that is poorly maintained or improperly sized does not just affect comfort. It runs harder than necessary, consuming more energy than a well-maintained system would. For a restaurant, office, or retail business in Cut Off, that difference shows up on every monthly utility bill. Scheduled maintenance, correctly specified equipment, and prompt repairs are the decisions that keep commercial HVAC costs in check.
We at Martin's Heating and Air Conditioning bring the same attention to commercial system performance that we have applied to residential service since 1967. We know the demands South Louisiana's climate places on commercial equipment, and we know how to keep systems running efficiently through the long cooling seasons that define operating costs in this region.
Byron Patureau, a Local Guide with 19 reviews, has worked with Martin's across multiple services over time and described what makes the company stand out for business and property owners who need more than one trade covered.
Martins is the best. They have helped with my AC work, from a simple repair to a new unit inside. They have helped with electrical work, from a bad socket to rewiring my boat dock. Now I hear they bought a company that I use to fix my ice machine. This is great, a one-stop shop and honest to boot.
For business owners who need a contractor they can call for HVAC, electrical, and specialized equipment service without managing multiple vendors, Martin's breadth of service and long track record in this community is exactly that kind of resource.
Paul Braud, a Cut Off area customer, described a service experience that involved a same-day visit, a follow-up failure, and an after-hours technician dispatched at no additional charge.
We had a technician stop by the same day we called. We had a coolant leak in our central AC system. They determined we needed a new air handler. The air handler was replaced two days later, as soon as we arranged financing. The crew arrived on time, didn't leave a mess, and were done by lunch time. The system wasn't working two days later, so we called, and they sent an after-hours on-call technician. He determined there was a leak in the condenser, which was the original problem, and not addressed by the air handler replacement at all. (We did need a new air handler though; that thing was on its last leg.) I didn't catch his name, but he was very professional, excellent at troubleshooting, and fixed the problem quickly. We paid a good price for the air handler, considering the labor and cost of HVAC systems these days, and the after-hours call was no charge.
When a system continues to have issues after an initial repair, the right response is to send someone back without making the customer wait or pay extra for it. That is the standard we hold ourselves to.
Martin's Heating and Air Conditioning was founded in 1967 and has served the South Lafourche and South Terrebonne communities for nearly 60 years.
We offer 24/7 emergency service for commercial clients. Response time depends on current dispatch availability, but our goal is to get a licensed technician to your property as quickly as possible to assess the situation. Businesses with active service agreements may receive prioritized scheduling.
Yes. We repair and maintain all major commercial HVAC brands and system types, including rooftop package units, commercial split systems, multi-zone systems, and ductless commercial configurations. For replacement equipment, we work with Amana, Daikin, and Goodman.
A commercial maintenance visit covers coil cleaning, refrigerant level checks, electrical component inspection, condensate drain service, filter assessment, and a full operational test of the system. We can schedule visits around your business hours to avoid service disruption during peak periods.
Undersized commercial systems run continuously without maintaining the target temperature. Oversized systems short-cycle, which creates humidity problems and accelerates equipment wear. If your system struggles to maintain consistent temperatures during peak occupancy, or if energy bills have been rising without an obvious explanation, a professional assessment of the system's sizing and condition is the right first step. We perform load calculations based on the actual demands of your commercial space before recommending replacement equipment.
